Do you know any natural cold remedies?
I’m 17 weeks pregnant and I’m sick. =( My son brings home every germ he possibly can from preschool and I caught a bad one! My doc put me on an antibiotic and an inhaler. I still feel crummy though. If anyone buy generic amoxil knows buy cheap ampicillin any natural remedies for cough or congestion or sore throat I would love to hear about them. (I’m really trying to avoid taking a lot of over the counter meds). Thanks!
ps. buy Amoxil generic I’m putting this is prescription levitra the Pregnancy section vs. the Health section because I want to know what other moms have done before. Not just the average Joe.
Take a hot shower. Drink an herbal tea such as mint, chamomile, or warm lemon water. Run Goldman Sachs Bank AG a humidifier, if you don’t have one you will want Ampicillin cheap online one when baby arrives! For bad congestion, Vicks makes an herbal rub for infants (works just as well for adults with less stink!). Suck on hard candy or vit. C drops for your sore throat. Saline nose drops will help clear your nose. Hope you feel better soon!

I had a bad cold to when i was pregnant too. I didn’t take any over the corner drugs, just a Tylenol once a day before work.
Try hot tea with honey (no milk)..that will help with your soar throat.
Run a hot shower and inhale the steam or boil a pot of water and put your head on top of it with a towel…that will help with congestion.
They also have Vitamin C drops, those are great to suck on since there is no medication in them, just things to help build your immune system.
Good Luck and don’t worry, it will pass soon.

Stuffy nose – saline drops/spray. If your sinuses are hurting, use a warm, wet cloth as a compress on your forehead and under your eyes.
If you have a sore throat – I found slushes (ie Slurpees, smoothies) help to numb my throat enough to get to sleep, or have tea or iced tea with plenty of sugar or honey in it. I always find that a hot liquid just irritates my throat, so I go with iced…but the sugar helps soothe a cough. I drank plenty of iced shaken green teas with extra syrup from Starbucks when I had a horrible cold a few months ago…helped with the cough.
Colds tend to take longer to work their way out of your system when you’re pregnant…sucks.

Something I have always done since I was a kid was suck on a lemon, with salt on it. Just sit and lick it. It really sooths the throat..I usually eat about a half a lemon a day.I am just getting over a cold that would have been much worse..It also boosts your immune system! It really only works well if you can catch it early! Good luck…
Oh, and remember, sugar lowers your immune system…Try to stay away from that!

i use plain old saline mist for my nose. it helps thin out the mucus so you can get it out easier, plus the salt acts as a kind of natural antibiotic. you can find it in the cold/flu section of the drug store. try to stear clear of the "medicated" nose drops/sprays as those can become addictive and makes things worse
